What is a Wiki?

A wiki is a collaborative web site for a community. Visitors can both read pages, update them, and even create their own pages. Unlike a web site or blog, which typically is one person speaking to the world, a wiki allows everyone to Contribute. Unlike a forum, a wiki is more about publishing than discussion.

Creating a page on a wiki is simple to do, not complicated like a web page. You just write, or copy and paste straight text. If you want to get fancy, a simple text language and formatting buttons provide enhanced formatting. If you're experienced with web coding, the wiki can even accept HTML.
