What is a Wiki?

 

A wiki is a community resource for publishing text, links, images, and more. Unlike a web site or blog, which typically is one person speaking to the world, a wiki allows everyone to Contribute. Visitors can both read and create their own pages.

 

Creating a page on a wiki is simple to do. You just write, or copy and paste straight text. A simple text language and formatting buttons let you format text. It is much easier to learn and read than HTML, which is used for web pages.
