Connection Quantity vs. Quality

 

Should you focus on maximizing the number of connections or only connecting to close contacts? This is the most popular debate in LinkedIn DiscussionGroups.

 

There are benefits to both Quantity and Quality approaches.

 

Be aware though that Quality gets LinkedIn's official vote and is supported by its policies and features. LinkedIn advocates connections only with trusted colleagues. They discriminate against ActiveNetworkers in multiple ways.
