The Inbox for ActiveNetworkers can have hundreds of messages, even over a thousand (!), a waste of megabytes of data just to download and display the Inbox. There is no reasonable way to manage this.

 

This assume typical process for message one must respond to - forwarding introductions, and received introductions and invitations. The Inbox should make using the service easy, not hard.

 

You don't have the option of indicating that a message category like Answers should be displayed on another page, like LinkedIn already does with Profile Updates messages.

 

You can't click a category button to expand or collapse the display of those messages.

 

Individual messages are not automatically archived if read. For example, if you read an Introduction accepted you are forced to manually archive it so it's not displayed again. You have to do that for every single message.
