Customer service is a problem with LinkedIn. Here are a few tips to get help.
If you have a business account, LinkedIn provides one business day response. Or at least they try. Sometimes it takes a few days. Or a week. But they generally do respond. Make sure you send your message from the web site at http://www.linkedin.com/feedback?displayContactCustomerServiceFeedback= .
If you don't have a business account, you typically do not get a response. Here are a few options.
- Call. Phone the LinkedIn office at 650-687-3600.
- Account violations. The Privacy staff is headed by Duncan Wonk and handles account restrictions. Contact them at privacy@linkedin.com .
- Ombudsman. LinkedIn staff sometimes participates in LinkedIn DiscussionGroups. One person who does and may be able to help is Kay Luo at klinkedin@gmail.com .
