First, request a wiki contributor account

  • Send email with your name, email address, LinkedIn URL, and types of pages you'd like to add or update our wiki pages.
  • Do not share your contributor account. All changes are logged to track abuse.

 

The basics

To add a page

  • Go to http://MyLinkWiki.com
  • Click "Log in" at the top right of the page. Enter the password and your name and email.
  • Click "New Page" at the top left of the page
  • Review Help for general editing and naming and creating pages.

 

To edit a page, such as an existing MyLink500 page

  • Go to http://MyLinkWiki.com
  • Click "Log in" at the top right of the page. Enter the password and your name and email.
  • Go to the page you want to edit
  • Click "Edit Page" at the top left of the page
  • Review Help for general editing and naming and creating pages.

MyLinkWiki page editing advisory

  • DO NOT change FrontPage, SideBar, or the Settings page. Please be very careful changing any MyLinkWiki administration pages. It's best to clear changes through via email through Wiki host MarcFreedman.
  • Be respectful of other contributors. Use care in editing other people's pages. If you make substantial changes or add new changes, consider putting your own page additions/changes at the end of the page with your own name or creating a new page and putting a link on the page you're changing.

 

Web Addresses

http://MyLinkWiki.com is located at http://linkedin.pbwiki.com, which you'll see in your browser address bar. Be careful editing web addresses outside the wiki. Read our WebAddresses guide to avoid errors and make sure you're using the right Internet address or URL.

 

Promote yourself and your page

  • LINK A PAGE: Edit the bottom of the Directory page to add your new page titles and links, submit category suggestions, or other editing feedback. Additional directory pages will be added over time.
  • GET RECOGNITION: Create your own personal Wiki page. Then add yourself to the bottom of the Contributors page.

 

Deleting wiki pages

  • Contributors cannot delete pages. Send email to request page deletions.
